Health Tips

Frequent hand washing remains the single most effective way to reduce illness!

 Promote healthy sleep habits

Good nutrition is directly related to the ability to learn. Encourage healthy meals and snacks - limit junk food!

Good attendance is critical for learning.  All students should strive for a 95% or better attendance record (one day absence per month on average)..

Promote daily physical activity - at least 60 minutes per day. Limit your child’s screen time.

Sleep

Better sleep leads to improvements in health, well-being, and academic achievement. Regular schedules and bedtime routines create good sleep habits that set kids up for a good night’s rest.

Share our Snooze To-Do checklist with students so they can establish a healthy bedtime routine. This checklist includes a version for elementary students and a version for middle and high school students!
