Advisory Council

Minnesota statutes require that a broad based volunteer advisory council for Community Education shall function in cooperation with the Community Education Director in an advisory capacity.  Our council is representative of a cross section of all community members, and is open to new membership and participation at any time.  The council meets bi-monthly and may work on the following types of activities:  identify and recruit volunteers, supervise programs, publicize and promote events, develop and evaluate goals and objectives, complete needs assessments, organize special events, recommend policies, and assist in planning of classes. Anyone interested in joining or visiting our council should call our office for meeting times.  The 2009-2010 members are:
