On May 21st, Dr. Toby Boss from Marzano Research visited WHA. He certified both the WHA Elementary and High School for High Reliability Schools Level 2. Level 2 focuses on our instructional plan of action, teacher growth model, and job-embedded professional development. While he was at WHA he spoke with teachers, visited classrooms, and talked with students.
Congratulations to Cindy Alto, Ruth Brueland, and Ben Offerman for receiving Sourcewell's Educator of Excellence award! The Educators of Excellence Awards Banquet celebrates innovative educators across Region 5 for their dedication, hard work, and leadership. The Awards Banquet was held on May 8th at Grand View Lodge in Brainerd. The theme was "Celebrating the stories that shape us". The evening consisted of dinner, a keynote by Katy Smith, and the presentation of awards. It was a great evening! Join us in congratulating Cindy, Ruth, and Ben!
